Introducing Baleia’s 2023 Pinot Noir: Elegance, Refined
This winter, we invite you to savour something truly special from the first and only winery in the Lower Duivenhoks.
Baleia Wines is proud to unveil our newest Pinot Noir vintage. This is a wine that speaks of spring rains, calcium-rich soils, and the patient craft of our winemaker. Vibrant and velvety, this vintage unveils layers of flavour.
On the nose: an aromatic bouquet of dried spices, figs, strawberry confection, and a touch of cinnamon.
On the palate: layers of luscious fruit, subtle spice, and a hint of wild strawberry, supported by granular tannins and a well-balanced, robust structure.
Pairs with: line fish, tandoori chicken, Asian-inspired cuisine, and other delicate white meat dishes.
Best served: slightly chilled to enhance vibrancy and structure. Decanting is recommended to unlock the full depth and complexity of this exceptional vintage.
