Black and red berries abound on the nose and palate, along with dried herbs and crushed black pepper inviting the next sip with a captivating aroma. A slight hint of savoury umami and thread of flinty minerality add a consistent sense of freshness to this velvety, balanced wine.
Baleia Limitados Chardonnay
Tasting Note
Around the world, Chardonnay and limestone is regarded to have a special symbiosis. The high pH of our soil results in low pH grapes which make for lively, fresh wines. Adding to this freshness is a chalky minerality, complex layers of citrus and white stone fruit, and a textured mouthfeel.
Baleia Limitados Tempranillo
Tasting Note
A lush, dry Tempranillo with ripe cherry, dark chocolate, clove, and indigenous dill on the nose. Cedar leaf and dried fig entertains the palate while the delicate sensation of minerality present in Baleia’s food-driven wines expresses the natural salts found in the soils.
